Insert partial file dialog

This dialog is displayed by the command "File/Insert partial file". It is used to specify the properties of the file part to be inserted.

  1. Data start: Type the starting position of the file's partial data to be inserted in hexadecimal (prefixed by "0x") or decimal notation. You can also use a position relative to the file's end: When prefixing the number by a greater than (">") sign, the data start is relative to the file's end
  2. Data end: Type the end position of the file's partial data to be inserted in hexadecimal (prefixed by "0x") or decimal notation. You can also use an absolute number of bytes to be inserted (prefix plus sign ("+")) or an end position relative to the file's end (prefix greater than sign (">"))
  3. OK: Use the values entered and insert the file's data in the active editor
  4. Cancel: Close the dialog without inserting data
